I mentioned it on the admin messageboard about a week ago. They'll get round to it when time permits

This is a fantastic read for anyone using software, and everyone should give it a read...

http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html

When you report an issue, we need information in order to debug it, because we may not be seeing it here on our test platform, or even using our test accounts on Wincustomize.

Information you should always give us...

  • Time of day.
  • Your time zone.
  • Any error output you see on the screen. (copied verbatim, not a general 'something like this')
  • The browser you use. (For this its obvious, because its IE only right now)
  • Your browser version.

So this is basically a 'help us, help you' situation. I'll take a look at the issue, but without specifics I may not be able to find the bug youre seeing.

this is the message that appears when the upload fails. 740am pst, hope this helps

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

hmm theres was more when i copy and paste. All the stuff in the blank space is gone.. haha wierd.

Yes thank you for pasting that.

Took me a while to figure out that it was a message box that popped up after you hit 'Send' that had the 'Some server side...' thing in it.

Shoulda noted that we would also like to see the steps taken to reproduce, and the best estimate as to what action produced the error... if at all possible.

We have some server space issues atm and are working to resolve that. Once that is resolved I'll do some more testing and get back with you all here on this thread.

Gah. I have multiple personality disorder today (that was my post there above this one)

Issue seems to be resolved. I say 'seems to be' because I would like you all to test and confirm that it has been.

Thanks
